29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury. a) 791 Oriskany St. - On or about 11/14/16 - Employees were not trained on the hazard of working in hot environments exposing them to heat illnesses, how to identify the signs and symptoms of potential heat illness, methods to protect themselves from heat-related illnesses, and what to do if they or another worker experience signs and symptoms of heat illness. IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19(C), ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION (USING THE CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
