29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): Protective eye equipment was not required where there was a reasonable probability of injury that could be prevented by such equipment. On or about August 25, 2016: Employees spraying and handling powder coating and are exposed to contact hazards from chemicals such as but not limited to 1,3,5 Triglycidyl Isocyanurate (TGIC). The employer did not require the use of personal protective equipment to protect the employees eyes from contact hazards.
