29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent) and toe boards: The employer is failing to protect employees from fall hazards associated with using inadequately guarded platforms. The most recent occurrence of this was found on the job site located at 9620 S. Railroad Ave, Bridgeport, NE 69336 where the employer has employees using the drop down platform as means of access to the top of the railcars while exposed to a 15 foot fall hazard without the use of fall protection.
