29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(iii): Midrails, screens, mesh, intermediate vertical members, solid panels, or equivalent structural members shall be installed between the top edge of the guardrail system and the scaffold platform. (a) Location - 143 Chestnut Street, Lynn, Massachusetts: On or about January 7, 2016, employees installing roof shingles from a pump jack scaffold that was 17 feet 4 inches above the ground, the pump jack was not equipped with a mid rail system to protect employees from falling.
