29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2): Each exit was not clearly visible and marked by a sign reading "Exit." On or about December 7, 2015, at exit door leading to Larkin Street, the employer did not ensure the exit was marked with an exit sign. Employees were exposed to fire hazards. The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 997104, Citation 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 28, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 2226 Macarthur Boulevard, Oakland, CA 94602. The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 768443, Citation 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 19, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 1600 Bryant Street, San Francisco, CA 94103.
