29 CFR 1910.134(c): The employer did not develop and implement a written respiratory protection program with required worksite-specific procedures and elements for required respirator use: a) At the finishing facility, on or about 10/28/15: The employer did not develop a written respiratory protection program. Employees wore negative pressure half face respirators as well supplied air abrasive blasting helmets. OSHA air sampling showed employees exposed above the Permissible Exposure Limit for total particulate during abrasive blasting and powder coating operations. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
