29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: a. Stock Room Exterior Door- Employees were not provided with access to an emergency exit when boxes of clothing, bags of trash, stacks of empty cardboard boxes, and other miscellaneous items were stored in front of the rear emergency exit rendering it inaccessible. b. Stock Room to Sales Floor Door- Employees were not provided with adequate access to an exit when boxes of clothing were stored in the doorway which separated the stock room and the sales floor, leaving an opening of only 20 inches. Forever 21 Retail, Inc. was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 922344, citation number 002, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 4/10/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1540 Broadway New York, NY 10036.
