29 CFR 1910.37(b)(6): Each exit sign was not illuminated to a surface value of at least five foot-candles (54 lux) by a reliable light source and be distinctive in color: The employer is failing to protect employees from emergency egress hazards associated with inadequately lighted emergency exit and exit signs. This was most recently evident during the inspection of the facility located at 2500 Old Hadar Rd & 2300 Riverside Blvd. Norfolk, NE 68701; where the employer has employees working in the facility where the nearest designated exit has an inadequate exit sign or lacks sufficient illumination. Instances include but are not limited to the exit door on the east side of the main production floor next to the lamination machine.
