29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees and that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls was acquired by employees as prescribed by 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(I)[A]-[C]: A.) North Coast Plastics, Inc., 2114 Loveland Avenue, Erie, PA 16506, on or about February 20, 2015 and times prior thereto: Employees were not trained as affected employees for lockout / tagout. B.) North Coast Plastics, Inc., 2114 Loveland Avenue, Erie, PA 16506, on or about February 23, 2015 and times prior thereto: Employees perform servicing and maintenance on equipment including, but not limited to, a Century Tech CT-9550 bag machine. Employees were not trained as authorized employees for lockout / tagout.
