29 CFR 1926.859(g): During demolition, continuing inspections by a competent person were not made as the work progressed to detect hazards resulting from weakened or deteriorated floors, or walls, or loosened material. Employees were also permitted to work where such hazards existed without being corrected by shoring, bracing, or other effective means: a) 266 West Service Road, Staten Island, NY 10314 - Employer failed to perform an inspection by a competent person to detect hazards before directing workers into a demolition site to perform work. Condition occurred on or about November 25, 2014, and/or November 26, 2014, and/or November 28, 2014.
