29 CFR 1910.132(a): Personal protective equipment for eyes and face or protective clothing were not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: (a) The employer did not ensure that employees were wearing face shields or protective clothing that was resistant to corrosive liquids while breaking into lines and equipment containing corrosive liquids such as 70 percent caustic solution. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED.
