29 CFR 1910.1000(a)(2): Employee(s) were exposed to an airborne concentration of carbon monoxide listed in Table Z-1 in excess of the 8 hour Time Weighted Average concentration of 50 parts per million: Location: 10C Stack St, Middletown, CT 06457 An employee was exposed to carbon monoxide at a calculated 8-hour time weighted average concentration of 442 parts per million, approximately 8.85 times the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit. The exposure level was derived from calculations using carboxyhemoglobin blood levels measured following the exposure. Atmospheric pressure, height, weight, activity levels, tobacco smoking behavior, and other factors were taken into account.
