29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): Such programs shall provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers. On or about February 27, 2014, frequent and regular inspections such as probing the utility pole #27W7663 located at Stubbs Road in South Lebanon, Ohio below ground was not conducted by a competent person prior to employees climbing the utility pole to remove the wires.
