29 CFR 1910.1025(c)(1): Employee(s) were exposed to lead at concentrations greater than fifty micrograms per cubic meter of air averaged over an eight-hour period: Employees were exposed to lead at concentrations greater than the OSHA permissible exposure limit (PEL) of fifty micrograms per cubic meter (50 ug/m3) of air averaged over an eight-hour period; (1) On or about November 20, 2013, a Pasting Take-Off Operator (Positive Side), was exposed to an 8-hour time weighted average (TWA) level of 3298.76 ug/m3 of lead, which is 68.98 times the OSHA permissible exposure limit (PEL) of 50 ug/m3. (2) On or about November 20, 2013, a Material Handler (Fork Truck Operator), was exposed to an 8-hour time weighted average (TWA) level of 221.05 ug/m3 of lead, which is 4.42 times the OSHA permissible exposure limit (PEL) of 50 ug/m3. (3) On or about November 20, 2013, a Pasting Operator (Negative Side), was exposed to an 8-hour time weighted average (TWA) level of 216.46 ug/m3 of lead, which is 4.33 times the OSHA permissible exposure limit (PEL) of 50 ug/m3.
