OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to electrical shock and electrocution from working on energized electrical circuits without first completing an energized work permit: At the Jobsite - The employee was working inside a 220 volt electrical panel that was not placed in an electrically safe work condition and the work was not being performed by written permit only.
