OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crushing injuries from an un supported steering axle: a) R.R. Donnelley and Sons Company, 1375 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA: An employee working under a raised forklift did not secure the axle and was exposed to crushing hazards, on or about April 8, 2013. Feasible and acceptable methods to abate this hazard include, among other methods, providing employees with enhanced training on the manufacturers instructions for repairs to the steering axle.
