29 CFR 1910.1027(c): The employer did not assure that employees were not exposed to an airborne concentration of cadmium in excess of five micrograms per cubic meter of air (5 ug/M3), calculated as an eight-hour time-weighted average exposure (TWA): (a) AECOM, Building 57 - The employer did not assure that abrasive blast employees who sandblasted military vehicles and other equipment were not exposed to cadmium above the permissible exposure limit. An abrasive blast employee was overexposed to cadmium at a rate of 13.1 ug/M3 on or about March 7, 2013. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
