Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001A Hazard: CAUGHT
Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational safety and Health Act of 1970: the employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a. On or about September 23, 2002, at the jobsite 24000 S. Western Avenue, Park Forest, Illinois, the employer did not ensure the Atlas Bobcat and its attachment was maintained and operated in a safe manner, there exposing an employee to caught between hazards. Among other feasible and acceptable means of correcting this hazards are to comply with the provision referenced in the Operation & Maintenance Manual 763, copy right 1995, and warning labels as posted on equipment.e
