Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a)Be strike by and/or be catch by 2 tons chlorine cylinders. At Mayaguez Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant, chlorine building - Maintenance employees and plant operators operated a Yale, 5 tons rated, overhead crane with the running rope severe kinked. The rope was out of the shieve grooves on the upper drum. Among other methods one, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to replace the rope following crane manufacturer's recomendations. a)A ser golpeados y/o pillados por cilindros de cloro de 2 toneladas. Planta Regional de Tratamiento de Aguas Usadas de Mayaguez, edificio de cloro - Empleados de mantenimiento y operadores de planta operaron una grua aerea Yale, 5 toneladas de capacidad con el cable de carga severamente torcido. El cable estaba fuera de la canal en la rondana del cilindro superior. Entre otros metodos, un metodo disponible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es reemplazar el cable siguiendo las recomendaciones del manufacturero."
