29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: a. Structural Shop: Welding machines were connected to temporary fuse boxes that were powered by flexible electrical cords that were run from the wall mounted breaker panel to the temporary fuse boxes in the middle of the shop. Employees were exposed to electrical hazards. b. Structural Shop: Breaker panels on the wall were powered by flexible cord running through the wall to the breaker panels in the mechanics' shop. Employees were exposed to electrical hazards. c. Paint Booth: Temporary lighting used in the paint storage container was powered by temporary flexible cord that was connected to a nearby building's electrical panel. Employees were exposed to electrical hazards.
