29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or were likely to be present, which necessitated the use of personal protective equipment: (a) Excavation jobsite; On or about April 15, 2025, and dates prior, employee(s) who operated a Stihl brand model TS-700 gas powered 14-inch cutoff saw to cut material, including but not limited to, reinforced concrete pipe, ductile iron, plastic pipe, etc., were not provided with equipment that provided protection for exposed and vulnerable upper-body parts, specifically the neck and chin area.
