29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i):The employer did not select and have each affected employee use, the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee(s) from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment: (a) Batch Room: On or about March 5, 2025, employees were unloading chlorine gas from 150 pound tanks without wearing an escape respirator on their person as required by employer hazard assessment, exposing the employee to chemical hazards. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
