29 CFR 1910.333(c)(9): Where live parts presented an electrical contact hazard, employees performed housekeeping duties at such close distances to the parts that there was a possibility of contact: a) 1033 Old West Chocolate Avenue Hershey, PA - On or about February 21, 2025, an employee performed cleaning operations to the inside of Motor Control Center PRIMARY CHWP-2 PP-88101 and other similar 480VAC Motor Control Center panels in the West Utilities basement while energized. The employee performed the cleaning operations using a nylon pistol-grip air gun equipped with a non-insulated metal wand to blow compressed air into the electrical components. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
