29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i):Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: On or about February 4, 2025, the employer did not ensure that machine specific procedures for the control of hazardous energies on equipment were developed prior to employees performing service and maintenance. Employees are tasked with the service and maintenance of equipment in the facility including but not limited to hydraulic presses, punch presses, thread rollers, CNC machines, and screw machines. Hazardous energies present on equipment includes but is not limited to hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical. electrical, gravitational, and kinetic.
