29 CFR 1910.1030(c)(2)(i): Each employer who has an employee(s) with occupational exposure as defined by paragraph (b) of this section shall prepare an exposure determination. This exposure determination shall contain the following as required by 29 CFR 1910.1030(c)(2)(i)(A)-(C): (A) A list of all job classifications in which all employees in those job classifications have occupational exposure; (B) A list of job classifications in which some employees have occupational exposure, and (C) A list of all tasks and procedures or groups of closely related task and procedures in which occupational exposure occurs and that are performed by employees in job classifications listed in accordance with the provisions of paragraph (c)(2)(i)(B) of this standard. On or about January 28, 2025, at an establishment located at 2441 East Glendale Avenue in Appleton, Wisconsin, Plant 2 - Coating Department; the employer's Bloodborne Pathogen Program did not contain a list of all job classifications that have occupational exposure, a list of job classifications in which some employees have occupational exposure, and a list of tasks and procedures in which occupational exposure occurs. Coating Operators tasked with cleanup operations after an amputation incident involving blood and other potentially infectious materials (OPIM) on the Vireo 3 flexographic printing machine were not identified and included in the employer's program.
