29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures shall be developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees are engaged in the activities covered by this section. On or about December 13, 2024, the Employer provided general procedures and training on hazardous energy control (LOTO). However, as part of an ongoing update, specific procedures for the hazardous energy control (LOTO) as to the Pot-Mixer-Mepaco-02 machine, Model 170, Serial number 462, in the retort area, had not yet been completed and updated and could not be utilized by employees. .
