29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt shall be worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift. a) On or about November 4, 2024, an employee installing a surveillance camera on a traffic signal mast from a LEGUAN 225 aerial lift was not protected from the fall hazard of approximately 14-feet; the employer did not ensure that the employee was protected while working from an aerial lift by use of a personal fall arrest system to include but not limited to, a harness and lanyard attached to the basket.
