29 CFR 1910.26(e): Portable dockboards are equipped with handholds or other means to permit safe handling of dockboards. At the establishment located at 1400 Plover Road, Plover, Wisconsin; the employer did not ensure that an employee had means to permit safe handling of dockboards. On or about August 23, 2024, an incident occurred in which an employee operating a Yale sit-down forklift (Model: GLC060VXNDSQ084, Serial: C910V02484N) was not provided with the necessary means for safe handling of a Torbeck Dockboard (Model: 9298/72, Serial: 10966), resulting in the dock board slipping off the forklift and striking the employee, exposing them to struck-by hazards.
