29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe condition(s) and the regulation(s) applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazard(s) or other exposure to illness or injury On or about June 24, 2024, the employer did not instruct employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions at the worksite. The employer did not ensure that employees were trained on traffic control means and methods, exposing them to struck-by hazards from vehicular traffic while performing work in active roadways. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
