29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) 1400 Bent Creek Boulevard, Mechanicsburg, PA, Worksite - on or about June 4, 2024, employees were performing residential roofing work, in excess of 18 feet above a lower level, while utilizing an extension ladder that was not extended at least three feet above the upper landing surface, exposing the employees to a fall hazard. No abatement certification and documentation required.
