29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2):Such programs shall provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers. On or about May 8, 2024, the employer failed to provide a competent person to conduct frequent and regular inspections at remote work sites, exposing an employee to a 34kV arc flash/ blast. Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
