29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s): On or about May 8, 2024, employees were exposed fall hazards and eye injuries while performing roofing activities and the employer did not ensure a competent person conducted frequent and regular inspections of the worksite and equipment to identify the workplace hazards. VANTES GENERAL CONTRACTOR INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1522859, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1a AND AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON JULY 15, 2021, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 618 DRAKE LANE, WASHINGTON, ILLINOIS 61571.
