29 CFR 1910.179(j)(2): Frequent inspections of the cranes were not performed at intervals as generally defined in paragraph (j)(1)(ii)(a) of this section or as specifically indicated: a.) Workshop - On or about March 26, 2024, and weeks prior to, the employer failed to perform frequent inspections of the Whiting 10- and 20-ton overhead cranes, thereby exposing employees to crushing and struck-by hazards caused by potentially malfunctioning or defective equipment.
