29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(ii):Prior to permitting an employee to operate a powered industrial truck (except for training purposes), the employer shall ensure that each operator has successfully completed the training required by this paragraph (l), except as permitted by paragraph (l)(5). Location: North Side Parking Lot. Instance #1: On or about March 6, 2024 an employee, who were not trained or certified to operate a propane powered forklift, was observed operating the forklift loading a van, exposing employees to near miss, collision, roll over and struck by-hazards. Location: Main Manufacturing Plant Instance #2: On or about March 6, 2024 employees, who are not trained or certified to operate a propane powered forklift, are operating the forklift exposing employees to collision, near miss, roll over, and struck-by hazards. Instance #3: On or about March 6, 2024 employees, who are not trained and certified to operate a electric powered pallet jack, are operating the pallet jack exposing employees to struck-by hazards.
