29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a.) In the assembly building, located at the Hyundai Motors Group Metaplant America, Ellabell, GA, on or about February 16, 2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 15 feet and higher, in that the employer allowed employees to work at an unprotected side without their personal fall arrest system being connected to an anchor point.
