29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16)(iii): Personal fall arrest systems, when stopping a fall, shall be rigged such that an employee can neither free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m), nor contact any lower level: On or about December 11, 2023, an employee performing construction activities at heights exceeding six (6) feet rigged his personal fall arrest system where he could fall and contact the lower level, exposing the employee to a fall of approximately 10 feet. Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
