29 CFR 1910.37(a)(2): Exit routes must be arranged so that employees will not have to travel toward a high hazard area, unless the path of travel is effectively shielded from the high hazard area by suitable partitions or other physical barriers. a)T & J Industries, Inc dba Metal Craft Industries at 1014 South Hillside Drive, Sioux Falls, SD 57110: On or about and at times prior to December 6, 2023, the employer failed to ensure that exit routes within the shipping and receiving area were arranged such that employees would not have to travel through a high hazard area where propane tanks were stored near an emergency exit door. This condition exposed employees to explosion and burn hazards.
