29 CFR 1926.1408(a)(2): The equipment's maximum working radius could get closer than 20 feet to a power line and the employer did not meet the requirements in Option 1 (deenergize and ground) Option 2 (Keep a 20-foot clearance), or Option 3 (determine the line's voltage and refer to Table A for permitted approach distances). Jobsite near Structure 266L: On or about November 20, 2023, the employer did not ensure that the crane operator lifting two employees in a man-basket met the requirements of Option 1, Option 2, or Option 3 to avoid contact with power lines.
