29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: 1 Cudworth Rd, Webster, MA: On and before November 1, 2023, employees who set up and did minor servicing activities on machines, including the Homag Panel Saw and the NorthTech Up-cut Saw, did not use the written energy control procedures to control the multiple sources of hazardous energy. On October 27, 2023, an employee received fingertip amputation injuries while unclogging the vacuum port inside the NorthTech Up-cut Saw blade guard without utilizing the energy control procedure.
