29 CFR 1926.652(c)(2)(iii): Manufacturer's specifications, recommendations, and limitations, and manufacturer's approval to deviate from the specifications, recommendations, and limitations were not in written form at the jobsite during construction of the protective system and thereafter until the protective system was no longer utilized: (a) Sewer main excavation; An Empire Manufacturing brand model no. 8HC-822 shield system, was constructed and used as a cave-in protective system in an excavation with maximum depths ranging between 22-feet to 24-feet, without the manufacturer's tabulated data available on site.
