29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training as specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(2) and (3) on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard was introduced in the work area: a) Trader Joe's located at 12 East State Street, Media, PA 19063 - On or about October 16, 2023, the employer failed to ensure employees received effective information/training on the hazardous chemicals in the work area and also failed to provide effective information/training at the time of employees' initial assignment. Employees are exposed to chemicals such as, but not limited to the following: -Limestone, titanium dioxide, quartz (SiO2) as contained in KILZ 2 All-purpose Primer. -Sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate, sodium lauryl ether sulfate, sodium xylene sulfonate, magnesium sulphate, etc. as contained in Suma Pan-Clean General Purpose Pot & Pan Detergent. -etc.
