29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): Accident prevention responsibilities. Such programs shall provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers. a) On or about September 21, 2023 The employer did not ensure that a frequent and regular inspection program of the jobsite and equipment were being completed by a competent person; as a result no fall protection system was being utilized by employees performing roofing work on a detached garage at a residential property exposing employees to a 12 foot fall hazards.
