29 CFR 1910.23(b)(9): The employer did not ensure that ladders are inspected before initial use in each work shift, and more frequently as necessary, to identify any visible defects that could cause employee injury. (a) In the maintenance shop at 122 Mill Road, McDonough, Georgia: On or about September 5, 2023, and at times prior, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of more than 13-ft. in that the employer did not ensure two 12-step rolling metal ladders were inspected before use.
