Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001A Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets. (a): On or about August 18, 2023, The employer did not ensure that employees on the jobsite were wearing hard hats. Employees operating on a lower level were exposed to struck-by hazards from falling objects from approximately 20.7 feet or higher on a scaffold. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
