29 CFR 1910.23(c)(3): The employer did not ensure that ladders are not loaded beyond the maximum intended load. a) Zeager Bros., Inc. - 4000 East Harrisburg Pike, Middletown, PA 17057 - On or about June 30, 2023, employees exceeded the 225-pound load capacity of a Louisville FE0616, 16-foot, portable fiberglass extension ladder while accessing the roof of a dry van trailer, and were exposed to a fall hazard of up to 13.5 feet above ground. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
