29 CFR 1926.251(a)(1): Rigging equipment for material handling was not inspected prior to use on each shift and as necessary during its use to ensure that it was safe: On or about June 5, 2023, and at times prior thereto, at the utility construction jobsite, the employer did not adequately ensure that rigging equipment such as but not limited to alloy steel chain slings were inspected prior to use or each shift, potentially exposing employees to crush-by and/or struck-by hazards.
