29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use: a) Bucks County Shutters - Paint Area - On or about June 2, 2023, painters were required to wear tightfitting full face respirators to protect from hazardous paint vapors, and the employer did not develop and implement a written respiratory protection program as required. Bucks County Shutters was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1561570, citation number 1, item number 2a and was affirmed as a final order on May 6, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 940 Thomas Dr., Warrington, PA. Bucks County Shutters was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1) as "Repeat", which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1629275, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on March 10, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 940 Thomas Dr., Warrington, PA. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photograph or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
