29 CFR 1910.106(d)(4)(i): Openings of inside storage rooms were not provided with a noncombustible liquid-tight raised sills or ramps at least 4 inches in height, the floor was not at least 4 inches below the surrounding floor, nor was there an open-grated trench inside of the room which drained to a safe location: On or about May 19, 2023, the chemical storage room, in which the employer stores flammable and combustible liquids, the room did not have raised sills or ramps at least 4 inches below the surrounding floor. The room also did not have an open-grated trench inside of the room which drained to a safe location. Employees are exposed to fire hazards. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
