29 CFR 1910.23(c)(7)(i): The employer did not ensure the stability of ladders to prevent accidental displacement: (a)American Engineered Products, LLC at 605 4th Street Southeast, De Smet, SD 57231: On or about and at times prior to May 10, 2023, the employer did not ensure two extension ladders being stored in the shipping area were properly secured to prevent accidental displacement. Forklifts operate in close proximity to the stored ladders and employees walk near the stored ladders in the shipping area. This condition exposed employees to struck-by hazards due to ladder displacement.
