29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): The employer did not ensure that an employee using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator is fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator, whenever a different respirator facepiece (size, style, model or make) is used, and at least annually thereafter: (a) Building 5, Prep Area: On April 27, 2023 and times prior, employees were required to wear 3M 8210V tight fitting N95 particulate respirators while performing chipping and grinding operations on precast concrete buildings to protect employees from respirable crystalline silica. The employer has not ensured that the employees were fit tested prior to the required respirator use.
